2008 Show Results

2008 Art of the Carver Show and Competition May 3, 2008

The show went well. It was well represented by entries from a wide geographical area. Our thanks to all who competed, displayed, volunteered, etc. Pictures and more information will be posted on this site over the following week. The preliminary results are available in PDF format by clicking here or on the Show Results above.  

Daryl will be continuing making the Spiral Candlestick holder at our next Wednesday night workshop. There will also be a knife making demonstration specifically geared to our new members. The next Wednesday workshop will be Wednesday, May 14th, 2008. Roger will be putting on a name tag making seminar at the May 28th Wednesday Night workshop specifically geared to our new members. 

Our next regular monthly business meeting will be held on Saturday June 7th, 2008. Don't forget to bring something for the Show and Tell.     

Regular Wednesday night workshops are ongoing the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month. Regular Club meeting on the first Saturday of each month. Check meetings and workshops for more details.
